From the outset, we prioritized thermal stability. By engineering our own heat exchange coils in-house, we ensured that the Marstair name became synonymous with "fit-and-forget" durability in the UK's most demanding hospitality environments.

1990 — Integration

The TEV Ltd Expansion

Quartz joins the TEV family, merging chilled-water expertise with Marstair's refrigeration pedigree. A singular force in British HVAC manufacturing is born.

Moving production to our dedicated West Yorkshire hub allowed us to integrate the precision of Quartz fan coils with the rugged cooling capacity of Marstair. This cross-pollination of engineering talent allowed us to pivot from simple cellar cooling to mission-critical infrastructure for the IT and retail sectors.
